Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the CorrectorAi application, related website resources, and associated services made available by Umber Lab Limited ("Umber Lab", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using CorrectorAi, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Some functionality requires an account created through email verification or Sign in with Google. Users are responsible for ensuring that account information submitted in connection with the app is accurate, current, and authorized for use.

Users are responsible for maintaining reasonable control over access to their devices, credentials, and email accounts used in connection with CorrectorAi.

Subject to compliance with these Terms, Umber Lab Limited grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CorrectorAi for its intended personal and lawful purposes. No ownership rights in the app, its software, branding, or related content are transferred to the user.

Users must not misuse the app, attempt to bypass technical or subscription restrictions, interfere with billing flows, reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where expressly permitted by law, exploit the service for unlawful or harmful conduct, or submit content in a manner that infringes rights or creates material legal or operational risk.

The app may process prompts, answers, transcript text, conversation text, corrections, and related materials submitted or generated through use of the service in order to provide language-practice features and AI-assisted feedback. Users remain responsible for the content they submit and for ensuring they are entitled to submit it.

CorrectorAi provides AI-assisted feedback for educational and informational purposes only. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, inconsistent, or unsuitable for any particular purpose and must not be relied upon as legal, professional, academic, certification, medical, financial, or other specialized advice.

Paid features may be offered through Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. Subscription availability, entitlement activation, renewals, cancellations, and related billing events are subject to the Google Play platform, the user's Google account settings, and the policies and terms applicable to Google Play Billing.

Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, Umber Lab Limited does not independently guarantee refund rights outside the refund, billing, and cancellation mechanisms made available through the applicable platform.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the app, including features, AI functionality, integrations, pricing structures, or availability, at any time and without guaranteeing uninterrupted service. We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature set, uptime level, or compatibility state except where required by applicable law.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the app or any account where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, abuse, fraudulent activity, harmful conduct, violation of these Terms, technical interference, platform-policy violations, legal risk, or security risk.

Users may request deletion from within the signed-in Android app. The web deletion page at https://correctorai.umberlab.com/account-delete provides instructions and support contact information for users who cannot access the app. Accepted in-app requests enter a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion processing is completed. Limited records may remain retained where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, billing reconciliation, dispute handling, legal compliance, or enforcement purposes. Certain information stored locally on the device may remain until the user clears app data or uninstalls the app.

CorrectorAi, including its software, visual design, branding, content selection, text, structure, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Umber Lab Limited and protected by applicable intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws. Except for the limited use rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license or right is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CorrectorAi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Umber Lab Limited and its affiliates, personnel, contractors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or service availability arising out of or related to the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon CorrectorAi.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Umber Lab Limited from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses arising out of the user's misuse of the app, violation of these Terms, infringement of rights, or unlawful conduct in connection with CorrectorAi.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Umber Lab Limited, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or non-waivable legal protections that apply under the laws of the user's jurisdiction.
